Mai 1980. Lors d'une manifestation réprimée par l'armée, Hyun-woo, un jeune militant socialiste, trouve refuge dans la montagne auprès de Yoon-hee. Après avoir vécu une histoire d'amour avec elle, Hyun-woo retourne à ses activités politiques. Arrêté puis incarcéré, il sort de prison dix-sept ans plus tard et se souvient…

May 1980. During a protest where the army opens fire, Hyun-woo, a young socialist activist, steals his way to the mountain where he is given shelter by Yoon-hee. Although the two fall in love, Hyun-woo returns to fight for political justice . Caught by the police and sentenced to prison, he comes out seventeen years later and begins to remember his past…
