Kuala Lumpur. Un sans-abri, Hsiao-kang, est attaqué un soir dans la rue. Ses agresseurs lui prennent tout ce qu'il a et le laissent pour mort. Des travailleurs bangladeshi le trouvent et le transportent chez eux. Il est alors pris en charge par l'un d'eux, Rawang, qui le soigne sur le vieux matelas qu'il vient de récupérer.
After being robbed and attacked one night in Kuala Lumpur, Hsiao-kang, a homeless Chinese man, is rescued and taken in by some Bangladeshi workers. One of them, Rawang, lets him sleep beside him on an old mattress that he had found on the street.
